Evolution of the state-church relations in Russia (middle XVII. v. – beginning of XVIII. v.)

XXI century is a time of rethinking some events related to the life of the Romanov dynasty. Of particular importance is the analysis of re - available archival sources, their importance for the revision of established points of view in historical science. Based on published and unpublished materials, the article considers the active transformations of the descendants of Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov, including changes in legislation, relations with Church leaders, and social changes in society.
