The U. S. role in the unification of Germany

This article is devoted to the question of determining the role of the United States in the unification of Germany, which occurred in 1990. The author examines the causes and factors of the success of US-West German cooperation in achieving German unity, analyzes the consequences of such a solution to the German problem for European security and international relations.
