To the question of the formation of terminological knowledge in the study of biological disciplines in higher education

The paper discusses the main problems of the assimilation of terms by biology students and suggests ways to solve them. A classification of biological terms according to various criteria is proposed. Particular attention is paid to the systems approach in the formation of terminological literacy in all types of training sessions.
