Factors of the impact of socium mediatization on the development of culture of personality

In the article the problem of personality development in a mediaized cultural environment is revealed on the basis of identifying both negative factors associated with “withdrawing from reality”, with aimless imitation and irresponsibility, and positive factors associated with meaningful and appropriate action on the use of available means to achieve significant results for the subject. The authors focus on the current approach, aimed at studying the Internet space not as a means, but as a living environment. In that environment accelerates innovation and social and communication processes contribute as self-realization of a person based on the unity of its emotional, communicative and activity manifestations, which are formed under the influence of media culture and various socio-cultural practices. Based on the experience of working with students, the special importance of media education in shaping the culture of the individual is revealed.
