Neologisms of the social-political sphere in the French language

the Article is devoted to the role of the study of the functional status and structural characteristics of lexical neoplasms in the social and political discourse of the French language. Material served as a lexicographic version of the explanatory dictionaries of the French language, Le Petit Larousse, Le Petit Robert) and the electronic version of alsainfo-mation periodicals (daily Newspapers Le Monde, Figaro, the weekly magazine Nouvel Observateur). The relevance of the research is due to the need for an accurate definition of the concept of neologism and, as a consequence, the need for theoretical understanding of the mechanisms of neologization of vocabulary on the basis of clearly defined criteria for its description. The aim of the study is to study the mechanisms of neologisms activation and functioning in the French language in the mother of socio-political discourse. It is shown that, despite the active dynamics of the dictionary of modern politics, lexicographical fixation of neologisms is characterized by sufficient caution due to objective reasons. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the plan of keeping lexical units fixed by the explanatory dictionaries of the French language. The review of the most productive ways of formation of lexical neologisms of social and political sphere in the French language is carried out. The novelty of the work is seen in the involvement in the study of data analysis of the texts of newspaper and magazine articles in order to identify the main vectors of the development of the vocabulary of the modern French language.
