Etiquette features of Russian-language Internet communication (on materials of social networks “VKontakte” and “Instagram”)

In the article, we analyze the features of speech etiquette on the Internet. The research material consists of entries in social networks «Vkontakte» and «Instagram». Traditional formulas of greeting, farewell, requests, wishes, thanks, apologies in the Internet space are transformed. In this paper we describe the word-building, semantic, and stylistic potential of etiquette language formations.
