The role of the comic strip in teaching English

The article is devoted to the role of comics in teaching English. The relevance of the research is due to the growing role of creolized texts in modern intercultural communication and the educational environment. Of particular interest is the comic strips, in view of the combination of verbal and non-verbal components. Since the comic contributes to the formation of communicative competence, it should be considered as a motivating factor in teaching a foreign language.
