Modern approaches to the creation of educational materials by professionally oriented language

The article is devoted to the development of educational materials based on the approaches and principles of teaching the language of professional communication. It analyzes the theory and practice of creating educational materials in professionally oriented English. To improve the efficiency of the process of language learning and the formation of foreign language communicative competence in the aviation University, the authors offer an alternative version of the textbook, which should be communicative, professionally and personally oriented, include authentic and relevant language material, methodically organized taking into account the level of language training of students.
