About five stages of development of Russian-Chinese lexicography in China

The article presents the historical stages of the development of bilingual Russian-Chinese lexicography in China. In the period of XVIII-XX centuries Chinese lexicography passed five main stages in its development. Over time, the level of scientific knowledge increased and the practical experience of the editors of the dictionaries accumulated, and the standards for compiling dictionaries were improved. Currently, Chinese lexicographers indicate that the theoretical basis necessary for the preparation of Russian-Chinese dictionaries has already been formed, but does not cease to improve.
