Traditional diet of ethnic Russian population of Altai Republic (19th – beginning of the 21st centuries)

The article examines traditional diet of ethnic Russian population of Altai Republic. Transformational processes that occurred to the nutrition of ethnic Russians of Gorny Altai in pre-Soviet period have been investigated. Impact of the Soviet period on the diet of ethnic Russian population has been analyzed. Research showed that diet of ethnic Russians' of Altai Republic has preserved its traditional characteristics.
