Pre-revolutionary historiography of history of Cossack-Turks of the Ural Cossack army

The article is devoted to the analysis of a pre-revolutionary historiography of the history of the Cossack-Turks that were part of the Ural Cossack army. In most of publications cited, highlights aspects of the topic far removed from the item under discussion. Not studied there were plots from history of school education of Cossack-Turks. It becomes clear that the huge contribution to a research of history of Cossack-Turks peoples was made by natives of the circle of Ural residents and army officers – N.A. Borodin, A.L. Gulyaev, I.I. Zheleznov, A.B. Karpov, M.P. Horoshkhin.
