The article covers language and expressive means in speech. The texts of speeches of famous English-speaking politicians were chosen as the material. The stylistic analysis of speech shows a number of specific effective techniques by which the speaker influences the audience. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the structure and composition of oratorical speech in a stylistic aspect. Thus, the article reveals the features of the skills of speaker.
