The paper deals with the direction of the scientific-practical work of a basic military training teacher while putting into practice applied military sports. The article shows innovative forms and methods of work of a basic military training teacher realizing standards and tasks of practice applied military sports within vocational educational institutions and comprehensive schools of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The applied military obstacle course for the first and second-year students of basic and secondary vocational education has been worked out to improve and consolidate skills in conditions of increasing of physical activity in the process of practical trainings and competitions. Relevance of the study: determined by state policy and increased requirements for the recruit, who in the framework of the program on the subject of NVP should: - to study samples of small arms, to be able to execute standards and exercises on fire, physical, drill, tactical preparation and civil protection; - to improve the skills of physical and moral and psychological training, as well as to be able to act as part of the training group, Department, crew and crew.
