Peculiarities of the organization of the process of psychological and pedagogical support of younger schoolchildren with delay of mental development

The article discusses the concepts of "support", "psychological and pedagogical support." The points of view of the authors are analyzed, covering in their works the issues of psychological and pedagogical support. The results of a study aimed at studying the characteristics of the organization of the process of psychological and pedagogical support of primary school children with mental retardation are presented. Particular attention is paid to the results of interviewing teachers involved in the education and upbringing of primary schoolchildren of this category and their parents.
