The article explores the little-studied problem of using the historical and pedagogical potential of the region in the rhetorical training of law students. The internal and external prerequisites that actualize this problem are considered. Analyzed ways to use ethnopedagogical potential on the example of the Karachevo-Cherkessian Republic in the rhetorical training of law students. The results of the project implementation set the problematic field for the development of practical books, manuals and reading books, optimizing the processes of dissemination of historical and pedagogical heritage.
