This article analyzes the features of the formation of terms in the field of railway transport. On the basis of the theory of terminology, the article shows the features of the formation of railway terms and the logic of the construction of this industry terminology. The conclusions drawn in this article serve as a basis for further research not only in the field of railway transport, but also in the fields of other scientific and technical terms.
