Axiological aspects of methodological support of the process of teaching color science

The relevance of the research topic is based on the need to study the place, role and ways of implementing the value component in the structure of the textbook on colour. This is due to the need to get rid of formality and improve the efficiency of the learning process to work with colour. It is necessary to substantiate the choice of the value component and to formulate the conditions for its formation in students by means of the textbook. It was found on the results of the survey and analysis of other studies that professional value that artists have is a humanistic orientation and are divided into the value of communication, value of activity, professional ideals of personality and professional work. On this basis, the conditions for the formation of professional values and their functional expression were formulated in such didactic functions of the textbook as: informational, communicational, reflexive and based on activity.
