Linguistic and extralinguistic aspects of speech in the framework of the course «Legal linguistics»

This article deals with linguistic and extralinguistic aspects and methods of persuasion in professional legal speech. The author, using empirical research methods, substantiates why the extralinguistic aspect of speech in legal linguistics is extremely important in the evaluation of direct, indirect or hidden insult. The article concludes that information in legal speech is transmitted through linguistic and extralinguistic means, which must be studied within the discipline "Legal linguistics"
