Expressive means of syntax in the Igor Kholin’s free verse

The article analyzes various means of artistic expression in the free verses of Igor Kholin: series of nominative sentences, inversion of the predicate, comparative constructions, as well as various types of syntactic figures, among which the most frequent is syntactic repetition. The conclusion is made about the multifunctionality of expressive syntactic constructions that perform text-forming functions, manifest subjective modality, and contribute to the semantic and rhythmic diversity of the text.
