From the history of entering societies of south-west Dagestan in the composition of the Russian empire

The study of the new history of one of the small peoples of Russia and Dagestan allows us to expand our understanding and factology of the specifics and features of the process of small peoples joining the empire. An analysis of the positive and negative factors and consequences of this process makes it possible to identify the causes of the migration of tsakhurs to the territory of modern Azerbaijan, the liquidation of the feudal sultanism of Ilisuisk, its transformation into an ordinary administrative unit-site. In the new administrative "military - people's" management system introduced in the North-East Caucasus, borders are violated, ethnically homogeneous societies are included in different administrative units - districts and naibes.
