The subject of this article is the General pedagogy-linguistic review of approaches to teaching foreign languages in General and non-linguistic higher education in particular, especially English, French and German. The main focus of the authors on the linguistic and cultural component of the teaching process that is related to national differences and semantic features of these languages, their prevalence, their currency and applicability.
