Evaluation modus in argumentation of the public speaking discourse (on the material of judicial activists’ speeches)

The article deals with some specific features of argumentation in judicial activists’ public speeches as well as with a number of issues of evaluation in argumentative discourse, in particular, in rhetorical argumentation. The author identifies context types being the basis of the evaluation modus realization in argumentation of public speeches. The article also contains information related to the results of some judicial discourse research. The author draws a parallel between judicial discourse and public speaking discourse in terms of using the evaluation modus in speakers’ argumentation.
