Thematic groups of loanwords in the media language (on the material of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”)

The article continues the series of publications devoted the problems of borrowing in the language of modern media. The groups of borrowings in the texts of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” are described, the reasons for their entry into the modern Russian language and the degree of assimilation are identified, the adaptation processes and the prospects for the entry of borrowings into the lexical system of the modern Russian language are analyzed.
