Correlation of logical and language in the problem of antonym determination

The question of the essence of antonymy in linguistics researches has not been fully studied. The authors traditionally define antonyms as words with opposite meaning and give the examples of words with completely different semantic characteristics. The lexical meaning of antonyms is usually explained through the categories of logic. Antonyms are considered only in connection with the peculiarities of the concepts they express. Semasiology is primarily the study of the actual linguistic features of the lexical meaning of words. When considering the relationship between the logical and linguistic in the meaning of a word, it is necessary to clearly distinguish these factors, keeping in mind their interaction.
