Basic concepts-constants in English fiction

The article shows the analysis of concepts and constants of English linguistic culture. The relevance of the work is determined by the recent increased interest on the part of linguists to study the relationship between language and culture, which is naturally reflected in, English fiction, in many areas of life and society. At the present stage of development of cognitive linguistics "concept" is considered as the basic concept. The concept should be studied not only at the language level, but also at the level of consciousness. The method of research forms a system-functional approach, which is based on the consideration of the object as interrelated elements, functioning within a specific linguistic culture. The object of this research is English concepts and constants.
