Professionalization of pedagogical training of students-teachers

The paper shows the problems of the teacher of pedagogy: low demand for pedagogy courses among students, goals, results, content and technologies of these courses. The factors that determine the development of a pedagogy course at a higher education institution are designated: the introduction of the teacher’s professional standard and the next generation educational standards, the modernization of teacher education, the professionalization of teacher training. The analysis of the program of modernization of pedagogical education (2014) is presented, in particular, its main idea is challenged - the professionalization of pedagogical training, the practical orientation of the educational program. According to the author, this carries the risk of reducing the quality of professional training, since the contradiction between the requirements of fundamental pedagogical, on the one hand, and its focus on the formation of craft skills in professional activities, on the other hand. The modular principle of the educational program construction is positively evaluated, and discusses options for adjusting the content of pedagogical disciplines based on the analysis of the quality of applicants, the motivation and academic needs of students, the needs of young teachers.
