The interaction of centrifugal and centripetal tendencies of the development of the british higher education terminological systems

The research is devoted to a study of the influence of the opposite terminology development tendencies on the peculiarities of the British higher education system terminological units. The author analyzes the examples of variation and uniqueness of terms in the context of the centrifugal and centripetal tendencies in terminological systems development. Special focus is given to the analysis of the Bologna Process and the International Standard Classification of Education terminological systems and the terms given in the glossaries of the Eurydice reports.
