Metaphorical word-building motivation in russian

This article presents the results of research on the sources of theoretical literature regarding metaphorical derivational motivation in the Russian language. In the process of studying this topic, an analysis of characteristic ways of forming metaphorical motivation was carried out, the dynamics of its development were investigated. The article also presents examples, studied the semantics and specificity of metaphorical motivation. The article examines the features of formal-semantic relations between motivating and motivated elements of metaphorical word-formation motivation.
