Speech strategies and management tacks in the speech of Donald Trump in Toledo, Ohio 01.09.2020

the article is devoted to the manipulation tactics and strategies in the political discourse as one of the methods to achieve the main objectives of political discourse participant. The strategies of manipulation in modern political discourse are researched based on the speech of Donald Trump delivered on January 9, 2020 in Toledo, Ohio, which was taken as a specimen of manipulation strategies implementation. The analysis is based on the stylistic means of language extracted from the speech by continuous sampling method. The authors use the classification of O.N. Parshina as the main theoretical material for practical analysis. This classification includes argumentative, agitational, informational-interpretative and the emotional disposition strategy.
