The article deals with English communicative behavior in a TV entertaining discourse. Enlighting the peculiarities of a popular TV-show as well as the dominant characteristics of English traditional communicative behavior, it analyses communicative tactics for realization of the speaker’s intention in the assessment statement. The research also reveals basic communicative schemes for an effective public communication.
