Frame representation of the N.I. Novikov’s literary discourse

The article offers the author's vision of the phenomenon of artistic discourse of the Russian educator of the 2nd half of the XVIII century N. I. Novikov. The author examines the features of artistic discourse, the concept of «concept» and «frame». The cognitive approach to studying the literary text of N. I. Novikov and the conceptual analysis of the works of the cycle «Russian proverbs» led to the identification of concepts-frames «wisdom», «patience», «greed». The conducted research proves the polydiscursive nature of N. I. Novikov's language personality.
