Taxis and temporality in the structure of the polycategorical complex

The article discusses the functional-semantic categories of taxis and temporality in the aspect of their intercategorical interaction.  These categories closely interact in the structure of the polycategorical temporal-aspectual-taxis complex that represents the taxis values of simultaneity and time difference in the presence of temporal indicators with varying degrees of prototypicality. The elements of the syntagmatic context are temporal and aspectual adverbials and attributes, as well as prepositions in the temporal meaning that perform the “taxis-forming” function of simultaneity, precedence, or following.
