Problems of integration of teaching general chemistry in the preparation of students of higher medical school

The article deals with the integration of the General chemistry course in the educational process of training medical specialists. The methods of managing the process of forming professional and General education competencies of future doctors in the course of General chemistry are shown. New more effective approaches to teaching this discipline due to modernization, deeper integration and differentiation of some of its sections are considered. The main topics of this discipline are introduced into the educational process, integrated with topics subordinate to the idea of describing the processes occurring in the body, which are the basis for the formation of a number of sections of the disciplines Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathological physiology, Pharmacology, etc. The article notes that General chemistry, being a General education discipline, creates the basis for students ' readiness for further professional training in clinical disciplines and for further professional activity.
