Activities of the cell of the All-russian society “Friend of children” for fight against homelessness, protection and the help to family in Chuvash the ASSR (historical lessons of 1925–1935)

In article laborious work of a cell of the All-Russian society "Friend of Children" in the Chuvash Autonomous Socialist Republic is considered. The chronological framework of a research chosen by the author is not accidental, they allow to estimate the socially useful activity of the Chuvash regional office directed to the every possible help to Workers' and Peasants' families in the territory of Chuvashia during the most difficult historical period of formation of the Chuvash statehood. Consequences of October, 1917, civil war, hunger in the Volga region (1921 – 1922) in the form of mass poverty, ruin, a huge number of orphan children and the thrown children, revelry of children's and teenage crime, homelessness and neglect negatively were reflected in life of ordinary Soviet families. During such difficult period mass activity of the All-Russian society "Friend of Children" in the form of regional cells in all territory of the country rendered the feasible help to all needing Soviet families and to some extent allowed them to survive. The conducted research allows to claim that the work of a cell of the All-Russian society "Friend of Children" done for years of the existence promoted fight against homelessness, homelessness and neglect and also strengthening of the institution of the family in the territory of Chuvash the ASSR. The Soviet power in the territory of Chuvashia pursued rather thought over state policy in the sphere of protection of motherhood and an infancy, the help to Workers' and Peasants' family.
