Methods of working with a feature film «Armageddon»(«Armageddon») in the classroom in English at the university

This article presents a methodology for working with feature films in foreign language classes with students of various specialties and profiles. Important principles that are taken into account by the teacher when creating a textbook on a particular film are noted. The article specifies tasks and exercises aimed at strengthening the studied lexical and grammatical material present in the film. The teacher suggests that students use a creative approach to research facts from country studies, which are mentioned by the characters of the film in various episodes. The author of the article indicates further work on the creation of methodological developments on artistic films in a foreign language.
