The article deals with the study and solution of the problem of forming spatial-geometric thinking on the example of teaching special disciplines. Objective: to Study methods and methods of developing three-dimensional and spatial-geometric thinking of students using informative technologies and experimental control of their effectiveness. Subject of research: engineering students in the ratio of hypothesis and guess research, this is an effective development of the formation of spatial-geometric thinking. The methodological base of the research is formed by a system-multifunctional, activity-based approach to the formation and development of a student's personality. The implementation of the research goals establishes the need to change the conditions and formations for high-quality training of engineering graduates. To solve important technical problems in the training of highly qualified engineers, an urgent problem is the formation of spatial and geometric thinking among students of engineering specialties. Along with professional education, it is necessary to implement and implement pedagogical methods for developing students ' personal qualities such as broad-mindedness, highly developed intelligence, creative potential, and flexibility to changing conditions of activity. Innovative technological processes require a person with higher education not only to have knowledge in their professional field, but also to be able to independently analyze information, interpret optimal and effective algorithms, tools, technologies, etc., identify the results of activities and make responsible decisions. Thus, students ' spatial and geometric thinking in special subjects will be formed during experimental work.

Keywords:student, research, engineering disciplines, spatial-geometric thinking.
