The concept of MESSIANISM in American political discourse (based on J.Biden’s campaign speeches)

The article deals with actualizing the concept of MESSIANISM in political discourse. Based on the conceptual-definitional and interpretative analysis, conceptual features of the concept are determined and described. The language material was provided by campaign speeches of Democratic presidential nominee J. Biden. The study resulted in identifying definitive conceptual features: intention for large-scale fundamental changes in society or the world, prospectivity, historicity, etc.
