A study of the problems of organizing distance learning in Russian universities during the pandemic

The main objectives of the research in this article are to analyze the main problems faced by universities in connection with the transition to a distance learning format during the introduction of quarantine measures related to the coronavirus pandemic. The analysis of the research allowed us to identify and structure a group of obvious interrelated problems, among which are: insufficient material and technical equipment of all participants in the educational process; lack of high-quality educational resources and poor quality of methodological materials adapted to the distance learning system; increased load on students and teachers as a result of the use of distance learning technologies. The analysis used data from sociological studies based on the results of a survey on the attitude of students and university teachers to distance learning.
