A cognitive approach to describing legal English discourse

The article examines the main approaches to the definition of the concept of «discourse», offers a definition of the definition of «legal discourse». Within the framework of the article, the main features of legal discourse are highlighted, and legal English discourse is considered from the standpoint of a cognitive approach. The aim of the study is to study the possibility and features of the application of the cognitive approach to the description of legal English discourse.
