Formation of the personality of the future Prussian king Frederick II

The article presents a deep historical reconstruction of the conditions that contribute to the formation of the personality of the Prussian Crown Prince, the future king, Frederick II. The author identifies various factors that influenced the formation of the character of the future monarch. Experiencing constant moral pressure in the key of classical "Prussian militarism", on the one hand, while maintaining a passion for French culture on the other, Frederick II entered the historical scientific discourse as one of the outstanding European monarchs of the XVIII century.
