Formation of evaluating judgment in the context of political discourse (on the material of the speech of Donald Trump at the session of the un general assembly of the UN)

The article presents the results of a practical analysis of the material made by D. Trump at the UN General Assembly session. A common theoretical basis is research in the use of modal linguistic meanings in political discourse. Markers of modality in such a discourse serve to provide the desired impact on the audience, depending on the personal preferences of the politician. The results are presented in the form of an analysis of the speech activity of US President D. Trump in order to identify qualitatively important elements for the formation of a proper picture of the world among recipients.
