Status of phraseological units in Russian and Chinese language pictures of the world

Anthropocentrism of modern linguistics leads to increased interest in the study of the linguistic picture of the world. This article compares the role of Russian and Chinese phraseological units in organizing linguistic pictures of the world, mainly participating in the representation of national concepts. Particular attention is paid to the comparison of the structural, semantic and pragmatic features of Russian and Chinese phraseological units. The sources of material for the analysis are «Ushakov's explanatory dictionary» [10], «Тhe large phraseological dictionary of the Russian language» [9], and «Тhe Russian-Chinese phraseological dictionary» [14].
