The article deals with the specifics of the manifestation of the quantitative meaning of the phraseology God knows how much, which has two opposite meanings: 'vaguely little’ and 'vaguely much'. The graded component, which is a mandatory element of the quantitative meaning, is implemented in this phraseology either by intonation; or by expanding the component composition of the FE.
