Activities of shah Sefi trade residents in Russia: on the example of kupchina Khvadzhi Rahmat

The article is a generalization of the materials of the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts concerning the arrival of the Shah merchant Khwaji Rakhmat in Russia as the Shah's trade representative. After his arriving as the Shah`s trade representative, for about 26 documents remained in the Posolskiy Prikaz. For the most part, these were petitions addressed to the Tsar. The petitions themselves, as well as other documents related to this trade mission (a list of products for sale, list of gifts, list of people in the mission and Shahs letters to the Tsar) represent an important source of both the microhistory of trade relations between Russia and Iran in the 1630s. (this period is little studied), and on the history of the organization of reception and leave of trade and ambassadorial delegations in Russia
