Karl Czerny and the importance of op.636 in teaching piano in China

The article examines and investigates the basic creative and pedagogical rules of learning to play the piano, developed by Karl Cerny. A comparative analysis of frequently used opuses by Karl Czerny allowing to improve finger dexterity, as well as the importance of using Op.636 in teaching, which was previously little used in the development of piano playing skills in musical schools in China, is carried out.
