National and cultural autonomies of the peoples of Tatarstan

The paper considers the emergence and formation of national-cultural organizations of the peoples of Tatarstan in modern times. Their activities aimed at preserving ethnic culture and identity are analyzed. It is reported about the preparation of the illustrated encyclopedia "The Peoples of Tatarstan". It is emphasized that the national and cultural autonomies of the Republic of Tatarstan, which includes about 40 ethnic groups, conduct an active friendly dialogue among themselves.
