Development of special-motor abilities in girls aged 7 - 10 years as a basis for improving the quality of performing skills in group exercises of rhythmic gymnastics

The purpose of this work was to determine the effectiveness of the author's methodology for the manifestation of special-motor components of performing skills of young athletes aged 7 to 10 years engaged in rhythmic gymnastics. The research methods used were hand dynamometry, RDO, the Bourdon-Anfimov test, and methods of mathematical statistics. As a result of the study, reliable values of changes in the indicators of special-motor components of performing skills were obtained in four examined groups of girls engaged in rhythmic gymnastics.
