The article is devoted to the relations of the People's Republic of China and India in the field of cultural cooperation at the beginning of the XXI century. China and India are partners in both the BRICS and the Belt and Road initiative. The article examines the history of relations and problems existing between the two countries. The problems in the international cooperation between India and China are shown through the prism of the foreign policy relations of these countries. The partnership between India and China is quite complex. There is also a lack of interaction between the two countries in the field of cultural and tourist contacts, as well as educational student exchanges.
