Russicisms in modern English slang

The article describes russicisms in modern English slang. Special attention is given words denoting Russian realities. Their types are pointed out and mechanisms of their transformation into slang words are considered. Conclusions are made concerning the slang meaning of russicisms as the reflection of the image of Russia in the worldview of the bearers of the Anglophone culture.
