Methods of adaptation of foreign students of the Russian university

The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of foreign students’ adaptation to the Russian-speaking environment. The results of self-analysis of foreign students' experience of living in Russia and studying at a Russian university are presented. The problems of integrating a foreigner into an alien cultural, climatic, domestic, social and academic environment are highlighted. Some methods of optimization of the foreigners’ adaptation process to the Russian-speaking environment are proposed. The article describes the experience of creating an integral system of measures for integrating foreign students into the Russian educational environment.
